HOW MUCH DO INTERPRETING SERVICES COST?
To estimate the cost of an interpreting assignment, one must first figure out what kind of service is most suitable, taking various factors into consideration, such as the number of people who need to hear the translation, the occasion and setting in which the interpreter must work, whether technical equipment is needed, and the number of languages to be translated.

CAN INTERBRIAN GUARANTEE THAT THE CONTENT OF MY DOCUMENTS WILL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL?
The standardized contract for translation/interpreting agencies, drafted by Feder.Cen.Tri Milano in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and adopted by Federlingue, requires service suppliers to maintain full confidentiality.
Everyone working with Interbrian signs non-disclosure agreements to safeguard clients and ensure strict professional secrecy in the way jobs are carried out.

DO YOU EMPLOY COMPUTER-ASSISTED TRANSLATION SOFTWARE?
Interbrian relies on Deja Vu, one of the most widely-used CAT tools currently on the market.
Still, one should keep in mind that computer-assisted translation tools cannot replace the invaluable work of a qualified translator, but in some cases, can facilitate it, speeding it up and ensuring uniform terminology.
Moreover, one should note that these tools cannot be employed for just any kind of translation; improper use would lead to rough, low-quality results.

WHAT DOES LOCALIZATION MEAN?
Localization is the process of adapting the content of a product or service to the native language and culture of the intended user. Technical, stylistic, and functional adaptations must not interfere with the specific nature and intent of the message to be conveyed.
Localizing a website means translating the content, adapting the graphic layout to the target language, and creating navigation paths that allow parallel management of the different language versions.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SWORN TRANSLATION AND AN AUTHENTICATED TRANSLATION?
Sworn translation (asseverazione) of a document, also known as certified translation, requires an affidavit from the translator stating that the translated text corresponds to the original. This service is handled by the court registry, where the person who carried out the translation must present their sworn statement along with a copy of the original text and a copy of the translation.
Authentication (legalizzazione) involves verification of the legal powers of the clerk who signed the sworn statement, and thus the authenticity of the signature itself. This service is handled by the public prosecutor's office.
